In general, a good test to see whether data can be integrated smoothly is to drag the dimensions from the primary data source into a text table on one sheet.

Avoid using the “individual dates and times” filter type for the same reason. If needed, use cascading quick filters for Years, Months and Days to show only the data that you are looking for. The name is highlighted, and I can just type 'supporting documents', (typing) press Enter and the alias has been changed. I'll go ahead and click 'okay' and close the dialogue box. If I want to change the alias of a group from inside of a visualisation, then I can right-click the name and click 'edit alias' and I can edit the text here.

    I know I can change aliases if I have primary and secondary source in use. However, while using only one source (excel), there's no option as 'Edit alias'.
